On Sunday May 26th 2019 the Vaughan Community came out and took part in the Hike for Hospice Vaughan! Over 350 community members came out to support the cause and over $35 000 was raised! Before the walk participants enjoyed a breakfast station donated by Tim Hortons Local Business owners, Canada Bread and various community members while kicking off their walk with a warm up led by Emma, and DJ services donated by Mike of DJ Mastermix. After the walk everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch donated by Pizzaville, Knights of Columbus – Maple, and Metropolitan Ice Cream! A special thank you to Enbridge Community Services for coming out and grilling up the delicious food with your team! The Hike for Hospice Vaughan helps to raise vital operational funds for our many programs and services, while supporting the expansion of our new 10-bed Residential Hospice opening spring 2020. Thank you Vaughan!
