Vaughan, ON — On behalf of the Board of Directors, Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan (CHV) is delighted to announce the appointment of Carmelina Cicuto as Executive Director, effective December 8, 2025.
Carmelina brings more than 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare and community-based organizations, with a strong focus on enhancing quality of care, fundraising and support services for seniors. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to compassionate leadership, operational excellence, and community collaboration.

Most recently, Carmelina served as Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County, where she provided strategic direction, strengthened partnerships across the health system, and championed advocacy for individuals living with dementia and their families. Her extensive background also includes senior roles with Esprit Lifestyle Communities, Universal Care Canada, and Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc., where she led diverse teams and implemented innovative programs that improved resident outcomes and organizational performance.
