programs & services

During this pandemic, everyone is asked to honour all our protocols and limitations when inside our facility.

All our programs are running but with limitations and the use of technology wherever possible.
Our Community programs of Wellness and Support are actively providing support to those in need.
Wellness checks, counselling and support are being provided through a virtual platform.

Our Residence is open with the following restrictions:

We have opened our visitation policy to an unlimited number of visitors in a 24-hour period. Five visitors will be allowed in each room at one time.

Screening protocols will be used by staff, students, volunteers, clients and family members before all meetings and appointments. Any visitor who tests positive on screening or has symptoms will not be allowed to visit with the client. Alternative plans will be discussed with the visitor.

All visitors will be screened each time they enter Hospice Vaughan for symptoms of respiratory illness or other COVID- 19 risks. Rapid antigen testing will be done on visitors who are not vaccinated.

All visitors will be required to always wear medical masks when they are in the building and client rooms.

Hand hygiene is very important; disinfect your hands using the alcohol based hand rub frequently, especially upon entering the building, entering and exiting the resident’s room.

The family kitchen is available with assistance from staff. Lounge areas are open for use.
