Description: This class is offered in a hybrid format, both online and in-person. If you are not able to come to the building to participate, you have the option of participating via zoom. This class is taught by a Certified Yoga Teacher on the practice on Yin Yoga. Yin is a meditative practice designed to promote feelings of openness, relaxation, and self-awareness in body, mind, and soul. Yin Yoga is a slower-paced practice that targets deep connective tissues like joints, ligaments, and fascia. Participants hold a given posture, like a “stretch”, for 2-3 minutes and use gravity, physical supports, breathing, and intention to open up the body.
For virtual participation you will need… a blanket and two pillows, as well as adequate floorspace to lay down and enough room to move your body safely.
For in person participation, you will need…we kindly ask that you bring your own yoga mat with you (if possible) due to COVID restrictions.
