Description: This class is offered virtually via zoom. This class is taught by a Certified Yoga Teacher on the practice on Yin Yoga. Yin is a meditative practice designed to promote feelings of openness, relaxation, and self-awareness in body, mind, and soul. Yin Yoga is a slower-paced practice that targets deep connective tissues like joints, ligaments, and fascia. Participants hold a given posture, like a “stretch”, for 2-3 minutes and use gravity, physical supports, breathing, and intention to open up the body.
For virtual participation you will need… a blanket and two pillows, as well as adequate floorspace to lay down and enough room to move your body safely
