ABOUT US

ABOUT
HOSPICE VAUGHAN

Since 1995, Hospice Vaughan, a not-for-profit organization, has been providing compassionate palliative care services and soothing grieving hearts in our community. We support individuals, families and caregivers facing a life-limiting illness or the loss of a loved one. We offer a 12-bed palliative care hospice residence and the Mario & Nick Cortellucci Hospice Palliative Care Centre of Excellence, the first specialized health care facility of its kind in Vaughan. We are a hub for palliative care programs and services in the province. Our community programs and services include in-home visiting volunteers, a day program and grief and bereavement support. Our services extend beyond those diagnosed to caregivers, family members and friends who also need support in their time of need and grief. All our programs and services are free of charge for individuals of all ages.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to help people with life-limiting illnesses live fully in comfort and with dignity until they die, while providing support for families, friends, and caregivers.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to transform hospice palliative care and end-of-life care in Vaughan.
