Hospice Vaughan Announces New Board Member
The Board of Directors of Hospice Vaughan is pleased to announce that Vicki Moretti was officially elected to the Board for an initial 3-year term at the Annual General Meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019.
Vicki is a lawyer with over 30 years of experience. Retired in December 2018, for the past 28 years, she was employed by Legal Aid Ontario where she held the position as Vice President (Greater Toronto Area Region). Vicki has held several executive and professional memberships on various committees as well as served on the Boards of community-based organizations. Vicki has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (York University), a law degree (LL.B) and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution (Osgoode Hall Law School). Vicki, together with her husband, Sam and two sons have been long-time residents of Vaughan. She enjoys cooking, travel, film and theatre.
In addition, Robert Corridore, Nick Angellotti, Louie Chiaino and Heidi Falckh were re-elected and will be commencing an additional 3-year Board term.
The following Directors were elected by the newly constituted Board to form the Executive: Renata Rizzardi-President; Robert Corridore-Vice-President; Nick Angellotti-Treasurer; Louie Chiaino-Secretary.
The Board of Directors extends its heartfelt thanks to Susan Paterino, outgoing Director of the Board, for her tireless efforts and profound and lasting contributions over the past 3 years. We are pleased and grateful that she will continue to be actively engaged with Hospice Vaughan. Susan will continue to serve on various committees, and as advocate and ambassador for Hospice Vaughan.

Since 1995, Hospice Vaughan, a not-for-profit organization, has been providing compassionate support to individuals facing a life-limiting illness or the loss of a loved one. We provide in-home visiting volunteers, a day program and grief and bereavement support.
