Hospice Vaughan Board Announces Two New Appointments – Interim Executive Director and Director of Community Engagement

Woodbridge, ON: April 21, 2016 – Hospice Vaughan and its Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointments of Susan Paterino in the position of Interim Executive Director, and Carmela Sisto in the position of Director of Community Engagement.

Following many years of passionate dedication as Executive Director of Hospice Vaughan, Carmela Sisto has accepted a new and exciting position of Director of Community Engagement. Carmela’s skills in fundraising and her close relationships within the City of Vaughan will be a valuable asset to the organization and the fund raising team. The Board of Directors extends its gratitude to Carmela for her commitment.

Hospice Vaughan is excited to have Susan Paterino accept the position of Interim Executive Director. Susan has valuable knowledge and understanding of Hospice Vaughan garnered through her various contributions and roles within the organization spanning from volunteer,
fund raiser, programme co-ordinator, and Board member. Her breadth of experience makes her a natural fit.

“Susan is a highly motivated and energetic individual whose leadership skills and experience will enrich the quality of services and programs provided by Hospice Vaughan to the community,” said Mary Grace Tatangelo, Chair of the Board of Directors. “We are delighted to have her join Hospice Vaughan as Interim Executive Director.”

Hospice Vaughan is thrilled to have Carmela Sisto remain as part of the team in her new role as Director of Community Engagement. She will be responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of fundraising and promotion, working closely with the professional fundraising company secured by the Board of Directors of Hospice Vaughan.
